Fall Faithfuls

For fashion, fall is by far my favorite season. Fall is the perfect mix of warm weather outfits by day and cool layered looks by night. Fall allows me to live vicariously through my favorite styles one outfit change at a time. Even though I have no formal schooling to prepare for this fall, it seems this time of year is always a breath of fresh air in terms of new starts and pushing the restart button.

To get you prepared for all of the fun fall events ahead, I have rounded up some of my most recent fall purchases that I cannot wait to wear this season. These looks are all easy on the budget and will keep you going from day to night all week long. Does anyone else picture all of the places you will wear an item before purchasing it? For some reason, when fall rolls around, all I picture is how items will look at football games, beer fests and rooftop bars. If my fall is anything like I picture, I will be one happy lady.

Enjoy!

1.) For any formal fall event, be it a wedding, birthday or dinner party with friends, this jumpsuit is the perfect look. Keep an eye on this one to easily get it under $50. You cannot beat this showstopper.

2.) Cardigans are an obvious fall staple. I have such a love for long cardis that double as cool weather outerwear. In multiple colors and under $20, this cardigan is one I will be wearing for months and month to come. I purchased this in blue but might have to go back and get more colors.

3.) Finding the perfect denim is a feat easier said than done. This pair was one I immediately loved. Although less stretchy than other similar pairs from J. Crew Factory, the raw hem is a nod to casual style without being shredded or overly distressed. I frequently size down in J. Crew Factory denim but went with my normal size in these.

4.) A great layering top is a necessity for fall. Anything lightweight and flowy is a win in my books. When I saw the beautiful mauvy-green color of this top, I was sold. This top is a great basic that comes in other colors if you prefer something different.

5.) I am always looking for cute and easy athletic wear to keep me motivated to move and throw on for work-from-home days. These shorts are a great length for running, and I love the fun pattern.
