Happy Spring, friends! I feel like there was a string of months where my wardrobe and outfits just really weren’t hitting the mark for me. Because I work from home most days, it’s so easy for me to stay in sweats or a tee shirt until 5 p.m. I’ve been trying to be more intentional about getting rid of clothes I don’t love, purchasing items I’m excited to wear, and getting dressed for each and every day!
Here are some items I’ve recently purchased that I’ve been loving and hope you do, too! These are great pieces to incorporate into your wardrobe one at a time or a capsule haul you could rotate throughout the season. Enjoy!
I’ve always owned far more tops than bottoms or dresses. Tops are so easy to purchase but getting ones that can be worn for multiple occasions and with lots of other pieces is what I’ve shifted my focus to.
Tis the season of cute spring jeans. I went through a phase in college where I owned upwards of 20 pairs of jeans, none of which were great quality or lasted me many years. Since then, I purged out most of those pairs and have been looking more into investment jeans. I also am loving these jeans that stray from the everyday skinny jeans.
Dresses and Jumpsuits
Y’all know I love a good floral jumpsuit and with Easter only a day away, a new one seemed like the obvious choice for the holiday. In addition to the new jumpsuit, I’ve also been pairing down my dresses to more basic styles I can wear multiple ways.
Shoes, my all-time favorite clothing category. Shoes can take an outfit from day to night and completely change the way your pieces appear together. These shoes are some great staples I will be wearing all season long.
